MY LOVE OF POPCORN GOES BACK TO MY COLLEGE YEARS...

At that time my husband, Alan, and I took date-night strolls down the streets of Chicago sharing caramel corn. In fact, Alan hid my engagement ring in the prize envelope of a Cracker Jack® box! How could I say “no” to that? To this day, he still won’t tell me how he got the ring in to the sealed box!

Living in Virginia Beach, we realized that the area was missing fresh caramel corn. Determined to create a caramel corn more delicious than anything we had ever tasted, we began developing the recipe in our home, where Alan tweaked batch after batch until the recipe was just right. Our motto was “Amazing or Bust.” After 53 tries we arrived at “Amazing”—Recipe 53 Caramel Corn! Although we soon grew out of our home kitchen, we still put our popcorn through the same rigorous trials and use the best ingredients to achieve amazing flavors.

Our flagship store on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront is an icon for vacationers, as well as a staple for locals. Our loyal visitors demanded the opportunity to buy Jody’s gourmet caramel corn where they live, so we decided to offer our products nationwide through retailers like you.
